Janie requested this recipe, and it is very delicious, so I thought I'd share. I got it from Sarah Jane a year or two ago, and I've made it several times. Sometimes if the peaches are really juicy the top gets a bit soggy. So, I've found that it's better to use a deeper dish and make the topping a bit thicker. I hope you enjoy it!
Place 5 cups sliced, peeled peaches in a glass baking dish. Sprinkle with 3 Tbls. granulated sugar.
In a separate bowl mix the following:
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour (I use wheat flour)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Cut in 1/4 c. butter and 1/4 c. nuts (pecans are good). Sprinkle topping over peaches. Bake uncovered at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
