News Roundup 10.26.10

We've had a zillion and one things going on the last month or two. Here's what we've been up to:

1. Preschool! Blake started preschool, and he loves it! He was so excited for his first day.

2. Fall Firm Party. Always a favorite with the kids.

3. Family Reunions. We attended a couple of these. The boys especially likes the reunion where they had games and contests for the kids.

4. This is Ty on the climbing wall at the school carnival. Fun times!

5. These are Michael's shoes. He tearfully called me from school one day to tell me that he had tied his shoes together and couldn't get them undone. I got to go to the school and bring him another pair.

6. This is Blake stuck on the top shelf of our cold storage room. I think the boys were playing hide and seek. Blake found a pretty good spot, but couldn't get back down!

7. Ethan found his fingers! His favorite pastime is chewing on them.

8. Ethan started solid foods.

I think he liked the prunes a whole lot better than the rice cereal. He seems to like the baby food alright, but he hasn't quite figured out that he has to open his mouth in order to be fed!

9. Ty brought this little picture home in his backpack a couple of weeks ago. His friend at school drew it for him. Oh. my. cute. . .

10. Ella's birthday!

Tiff had such a cute spread.

The birthday girl and her cake.

I think she liked it!

11. Soccer! We've been to a lot of games and practices. Ty & Michael are finished for the season, just in time for the cold weather rolling in.

12. One more thing I have to mention: Cucina Toscana. We had such a good time at this awesome restaurant, and since I often mark my life by the great food I eat, I didn't want to forget this experience! We got to taste a lot of different menu items, but my favorites were the appetizer & dessert. The melon and prosciutto was not only beautiful but also delicious, and I think I'm going to have to start making that at home. The lemon gelato was tangy and tart, just the way I like it. Yum! I think I'm ready to go back!

I have to agree with you about Cucina Toscana. One of my top favorites. Brett's Mom takes the girls there after the RS Broadcast every year. The salmon is delicious!
