Parade of Homes

My mom and I went out to the Salt Lake Parade of Homes a few weeks ago. We spent most of our time out at Daybreak. I had never been out there, but I had heard a lot about it, so I was really excited to go see what the buzz was all about. I really loved this community. The houses and yards were so bright and colorful and full of personality. I also loved seeing that some of the homes had modern design and decor---something you don't see much here in Utah.

Here are some of the highlights:

Love these pillows.

Cute & easy idea. I think I need more pink in my house!

Fun idea for a head board.

Really like this color pallet.

These mirrors in the stairway were so cool! It really opened up the space.

Love these IKEA barstools. They'd be great for kids. Easy to wipe up.

These dining chairs are pretty cool too, but I imagine they would need to be wiped down constantly.

I really love the handrail and half wall on this staircase, but you could never do this with kids!

Love the round mirrors in this entryway.

We saw a lot of decorative wood paneling. This seems like it would be a really easy way to add interest to an accent wall.
