1. We had our annual Thanksgiving Tree FHE, and as always, the kids loved it! It's so funny to see how excited they get over this activity. We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year!
2. Michael entered this awesome creation in the Reflections contest this year. He had a hard time figuring out exactly how it related to the theme "Beauty Is. . . " but he was really excited about the award he brought home yesterday. He has his sights set high for a trophy next year!
3. Michael loves contests, and legos, so he wants me to send LEGO a picture of his lego temple to see if he can get his picture printed in the Lego Club magazine. I think it's pretty sweet! What do you think?
4. Michael started up basketball again. He's having a lot of fun. Reed is coaching the team and lets Ty come along for practice---he loves it! One of these days I'll get my act together and take some pictures.
5. This is a picture of my new and improved laundry room! Love it! We added cabinets and a pole to hang laundry, and it makes my laundry room so much more functional. I love that I can actually see the top of my dryer and reach all of the buttons!

6. The patio guys came and finished up! I actually have stairs again! Wahoo!
7. The basement is coming along! Electrician? Check! Plumber? Check! Fireplace guy? Check! Carpet? Tomorrow!!! I thought this day would never come!
8. We broke a basement window several months ago in the basement and finally got around to fixing it. They came out and measured, ordered the window, and then came back and replaced it. In the mean time I spent hours cleaning all of the other basement windows. Because we had sump pumps in each of the window wells, the windows were covered in hard water deposits, and it took forever to scrub them all clean. Anyway, long story short, I cleaned the windows, replaced the broken one, and TWO DAYS LATER the boys broke another one! AARGH! Seriously?! I waited months to do this chore, and when I finally finish, they break another window. Why couldn't that have happened before I scrubbed the stupid thing? Couldn't this have happened before Sanders Glass came out? Twice? Murphy's Law, right?. Ugh.
9. I took a trip to Payless yesterday with all three boys. $168, and 8 pair of snow boots, Sunday shoes and play shoes later, I survived. Whew. Life's little miracles. . .
10. I'm trying to gear up for Black Friday. Reed is actually going to come with me this year, so I think it will be a lot of fun. . . except for the fact that I really don't know if I'm up for the whole 4-in-the-morning-waiting-in-the-freezing-cold ordeal this year. Actually right now what I feel like doing is just hibernating until spring. But, I really have got to get started on my Christmas preparations.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! And, for heaven's sake, update your blogs! You know who you are!

Love the Lego temple! I think Dylan might die if Santa doesn't bring Lego's this year. We'll see, I didn;t go shopping on black Friday so he might just get whatever I can find on sale, bad mom...oh well!
Merry Christmas, Jessica!
And, I laughed when you said you were happy to reach the buttons on your dryer. That's not too much to ask!
