And I'm so getting even next year.
Michael loves this holiday. Me, not so much. I always forget about it. Michael totally looks forward to it. He thinks it's a license to be naughty.
This morning after Michal left for school we noticed that all of the car keys were missing. The rascal hid them. He also hid Ty and Blake's underwear and toothbrushes. Getting ready for school was such a hassle today! When he got home from school today he disappeared upstairs for a few minutes. I noticed the smirk on his face and discovered that he had soaked all the kids beds (blankets, sheets and pillows) with water from the bathroom. Can you imagine what nightmare bedtime would have been tonight if I hadn't found the wet bedding in time to wash and dry it? Ugh! That kid is super lucky he didn't soak my bed, because I just washed and changed my bedding this morning.
I tried to be a good sport about it all and not totally freak out at him for the huge headache he gave me, but I definitely made it clear that for him, April Fools Day is OVER.
Next year I will be laying some ground rules for April Fools Day. And then I'm going to get even. That is, if I remember. . .

Ben told me about the beds. I would have been so mad. I am glad my kids are not that creative.
What a little mischievous little boy you have! I'm sorry it probably made your day a bit long, but it gave me a great laugh. I need to take some tips!
