My dad and I took the kids up skiing for an afternoon a few weeks ago. We had a really great time. The kids were good sports even though it was cold and snowy the whole time. It was so nice of my Dad to come along and teach them how to ski (not to mention put their skis back on 100 times that day). The kids are so lucky to have grandparents who live so close and who do fun things with them.

You give me hope that one day I will have the courage to take my girls skiing. :) I have this dream of buying used skis and going up regularly for Alta's ski for free after three, but it's probably just a dream.
