I didn't take one single picture this week, and I can't think of anything interesting that happened this week, so this will be a completely random post full of eye candy and projects that I will probably never really get around to doing but are fun to look at anyway. How's that for a run-on sentence?
1. Maybe you've seen these. I think they are darling and would love to do something like this in Blake's room.
2. Also fun for a kid's room. Love these!
3. For those who love pretty paper:
I thought these would be really fun in the winter time as holiday decorations. You could hang them from the ceiling like snow flakes or hang them on a Christmas tree.
4. Easy and fun idea:
5. I think this pillow is very cute. At first I thought maybe I'd try to knit something like this, but I think this one is actually made from an old sweater. Right now I'm in the middle of making a bag from an old sweater I bought at DI. I like the idea of making something old new again.
6. Maybe it's just because I really want it to be spring, but these bright colors are just calling my name. I have an old desk in the boys room that I want to paint in a bright, fun color.
7. Speaking of bright and fun. . . What a great use for small scraps of fabric.
8. Speaking of spring. . . What's with all this snow? Bah. If I can't have spring outside, I would at least like to bring it inside. Last year we brought some tree branches inside that blossomed. They were beautiful and springy, but they stank to high heaven. I love this pretty "tree" with the small birds perched on it. I tried looking at Tai Pan for some blossomy branches, but something inside me is fundamentally opposed to fake plants. They need to be done well, or they look tacky, and I have zero confidence in my ability to do them well.
By the way, isn't the quilt on the wall cool? It looks like they printed old photos onto fabric and then quilted them together.
9. More on spring and fun, bright colors.
Yum. These are better than Starburst. Easter candy. Sigh.
10. Do you think I can talk Reed into putting a sink like this in our basement? Probably not. He'll say it's wierd. Oh, but it's pretty.
Well, that's it for this week. Hopefully my life becomes a little more eventful. But, it is nice to have a break from flooding bathrooms and kids who pee in their friends' backyards.

I love the ugly dolls! I'm with ya on the bright colors - I've been tempted to paint my night stands that turquoise color. Not sure Gator would be too thrilled. Fun ideas!
Wow--I guess it's been a few weeks since I've read your blog. You've been busy the last three weeks! How fun to go with the girls to Arizona. How NOT fun to have water problems again.
All of those ideas were fabulous! I am in love with the quilt of family pictures. Seriously, now I have to figure it out.
Pretty, pretty things. I love the orange hutch or whatever it is.
So you've written before of how you're not creative (maybe I don't have the right word)...but that's so not true. You have an eye for beauty! (and you make things too.) And I loved this post. After you paint the desk at your house, fly down to Texas and help me paint my hand-me-down kitchen table. :)
I love the sweater pillow. Too bad I got rid of almost ALL of my sweaters when I thought I was moving to Cali 2 years ago, ugh. Hey we had a Rawson moment yesterday when our kitchen flooded our basement, just thought you should know you're not the only one fighting the ridiculous plumbing woodside left all of us to deal with:)
Even without pictures of your cute kids, I still enjoy the weekly posts. I know I don't comment enough, but I always come here every Wednesday morning to see what you've been up to. I wish I could send some of our warm weather your way. I wish I was close enough for a visit too.
