Right now I am wishing that I could go back and sit on the beach for another glorious afternoon! Winter is such a drag. During our trip to California we spent a day at the beach---which really was more like half a day because it got too cold to stay. I love the beach. I could sit on the beach every day of my life and be happy. And the kids love it. They play and play, and it's just the greatest thing. Reed however does not love the beach. He hates all things that involve sand. Thus, we don't make it to the beach often. Such a shame!

We also spent a day at Legoland. The rides were pretty disappointing after going to Disneyland, but it was really cool to see all of the Lego creations. I wish we had spent some time letting the kids build legos, and less time waiting in line for the rides. Oh well. The water portion was really fun, but it was just too cold. The kids played for 20 or 30 minutes right before closing time so they didn't have to hang out in wet clothes all day.

Blake got a couple of splashes and decided he was done playing in the water. . .too cold!
Apparently Ty and Michael didn't mind the cold so much!
This kid is crazy!
