Fall Happenings

We had a busy fall!  Sometimes it seems like we just run from one thing to the next.  I always think things will slow down a bit. . . but they never do.  One major change is that Reed was released from the bishopric and put into Young Mens.  It's been so nice to have him around more at home, and especially on Sundays.  It's been a long time since Reed's been home to help get the kids ready for church.  It's so great to have him sit with us during church!  I was recently released from teaching Relief Society, and although I whined every time I had to teach, it really was a great calling.  I'll be in scouts now, which (hopefully!) will be a lot of fun.  Here are some of the other things we've been up to:

The kids got their faces painted at the fall firm party.

Lots of reading!  Michael finds the funniest places. . .

Soccer. . . and more soccer!

The older boys got to go to a BYU football game with their dad.  Poor Ethan had to stay home with Mom!

I Bottled pears, pear jam, grape jelly, and grape juice.  Yum!  My mom helped me with the pears (thank goodness, or it wold have been a real drag!), and Stephanie gave me all the grapes.  Thanks!

Basketball!  Reed coached Ty's team again this year.  Michael started playing on a comp team, and he's loving it.

 Ty lost 3 more teeth!

Scout activities are a lot of fun!

Family game night.  We love games at our house!

Thanksgiving dinner with the Rawsons.  Becky really went to a lot of work, and dinner was fabulous.  We also spent Thanksgiving (evening) at my Grandpa's house, but I forgot my camera.

The famous cheezies. . . it just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without them!

We've had a busy, fun-filled fall!
