Michael and Ty have a game they like to play. When one of them gets in trouble for doing something naughty, the other feels entitled to do the same misdeed. If I tell Michael to get down off the counter, Ty feels he needs a turn to climb on the counter and get yelled at too. So, it's only logical that Michael would decide to shove a crayon up his nose today. Fair is only fair. He came to tell me that something was up his nose. Of course, I thought his nose was just stuffed and I tried to teach him how to blow his nose. After several unsuccessful attempts he finally told me there was a crayon up his nose. It was up so high I could hardly see it, and I had to go get the tweezers to pull it out.
This experience brought to mind horrible flashbacks of a trip I took to Dr. Hill's office a few weeks ago. After having nasal surgery I had to have stints and packing removed from my nose. This was honestly the worst few minutes of my life. The only way to describe it is to say that I felt like the doctor was pulling my brains out through my nose. Even now I want to gag just thinking about it. My nose is continuing to heal, and I am feeling much better now. I can't believe how well I can breathe. Who knew it could be so easy? I am finally starting to feel like the benefits from this surgery are worth all the trouble, but I'm afraid I may have nightmares about the stints for the rest of my life! Luckily, Michael wasn't as traumatized by having the crayon removed. Hopefully he at least learned his lesson and won't do it again.

Hilarious! Love your boys!
It must be something about brothers. Ethan and Joshua are exactly the same, although fortunately there have been no crayons up the nose (yet).
Oh my gosh! I can not beleive you had to dig that out of his nose with tweezers. I would have vomited! I hope Roman never gets that Idea. So glad your nose is feeling better and you are starting to feel the benefits of that yucky surgery!
