1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

I always loved going visiting teaching with you......in fact, you are still my favorite partner. No one even compares. We'd talk for a long time even after we'd get done......in the stairwells of Wymount of course. I miss you. Can i have your phone number. I'm not sure I have a current one.

I remember seeing you at a ward BBQ in the quad (didn't we have those, like, every month?!) right after Michael was born. You were wearing these jeans and looked pretty fantastic. I made the comment, "Wow! You're back into your jeans already!" To which you replied, "Well, these are my fat jeans." My first thought, "well, we should ALL have fat jeans that make us look that good, then."

Due to the fact that you're currently censoring my comments I will refrain from describing any incidents that may involve, well, I better not say.

Oh, where to begin. Kitchen Dances? Bomb Threats? "I'll show you PDA?" The stress of Finals Week? "I'll meet you at the Dumpster at Midnight?" Cleaning Inspection? Provo the Plant? "Absafreakalutely?" Your Lemon Chicken or Chicken Cacciatore? Sleepovers in the Kitchen? Chocolate Frosting on your teeth? Your double flash camera? Your numerous cavities our freshmen year?

I could go on and on, but mostly I remember you as someone that truly cared about me and what was going on in my life. You were a great example of what friendship is all about. You could (and did)become friends with almost anyone. In John 15, the Savior says, "Ye are my friends." You remind me of that scripture in that you seem to think of everyone as a friend and treat them thus from the start. Thanks for being my friend! (I didn't meant for this to be so long! Sorry!)

I remember sitting at the park with you shortly after our seconds were born and me telling you that I was moving on to third child status. I specifically remember the horrified look on your face. You know what I'm talking about, the are you crazy look. The look quickly turned to pure sympathy when you realized this was an ooops pregnancy. Since our kids are the same age I knew you were going through the same things I was and I really felt that you were sincere in your comments to cheer me up. You made me feel better when I was feeling very down and more than a bit overwhelmed. This might be 2 years too late but THANKS!

Being your sister for 26 years, I probably have more memories of you than most. Here's just a few that randomly popped into my head:

1. I remember watching you as Leisel in the Sound of Music and when I saw you kiss Ralph I just about died. When you're 13 it's really embarrassing to see your sister kiss someone.

2. I remember spending hours with you one night cleaning the kitchen until it was sparkling. I'm not quite sure what inspired us to go beyond our duty of dishes, but mom and dad were sure happy.

3. I remember sitting with you on the bunkbed eating practically a whole bucket of Red Vines while reading a book.

So many memories . . . hmmmm. For some reason the one that is really sticking out for me is our awesome pillow fight at Centennial and then taking a bunch of super crazy pictures . . . with actual rolls of film we had to pay for each time! It was so much fun and I remember laughing so hard. Love ya Jess!

I remember when we first moved in it was so nice to have you guys move in right after us that way we weren't the lonely ones in our area. The kids have really enjoyed all of the times that they spend together. But my favorite was finishing all of the gingerbread houses at the church with Renee. Those took forever and then getting them all trasported from your basement to the building. Crazy!!

Well here are a few memories.

I remember after knowing you for several months I thought you were a food snob. I really thought that you only ate fancy stuff and nothing as plan as spaghetti.

I remember at church shortly before your house was finish I talked to you about starting a play group. You were interested so I said I would call you. Your response was you better call me this week or I am going to give you a hard time next Sunday. I made a great effort to call you and then you didn't or couldn't come over.

The last one is just kind of funny. I have always thought you were a very graceful eater. Don't know if you will take that as a compliment or not, but I would.

I'm going to go WAY back on this one. I remember moving into your neighborhood right before the 8th grade and you invited me over for a sleepover. I didn't have any friends yet, but you invited the new girl and proceeded to go through your entire yearbook to show me who was cool and who wasn't. As if I was going to remember every face and thing you said about each person! I have always appreciated your friendship ever since.

I always loved how fancy you looked when you were going to a dance competition at BYU.

Oh man - where do I start? How about, "We're not drunk, we're always like this!" or "I would take the bullet for Julia!" That trip to London started a great friendship with you Jess. You're one in a million and I LOVE laughing with you until you cry!! :)
