Today's post is a snapshot look at what a typical summer day is like at our house.
- Reed got to go golfing this morning before work, so I had a good excuse not to go to boot camp today. I slept in a bit, and our morning got off to a slow start.
- Waffles for breakfast anyone?

3. Ty and Michael got to go to a summer activity class where they are learning all about knights. They were a little bit excited about it when they got home!
5. Play in the water with some friends.

Blake liked this slip n' slide a lot better than the one at the ward party. He also liked the Otter Pops that were passed around all afternoon long.
6. We came home and leftover Honey-Lime Enchiladas for dinner. I got the recipe from SJ on Pigs & Spice. Yum! Everyone liked it. 7. Time for bedtime stories. . . finally!
8. This is me at the computer, where I've spent a good portion of my day. I've been putting all of our CDs onto the computer and into iTunes, and trying to figure out how to subscribe to a podcast. I've become painfully aware of how pathetic our music library is. Why do I own multiple copies of albums by Whitney Houston and Garth Brooks? No wonder I never listen to CDs anymore! Anyone have suggestions for some must-have music?I have also been working hard on sorting and editing and printing my digital photos. Valerie showed me a tip on the computer that's been a real time-saver. Thank you! I got photos from November 2006-March 2007 printed out. Baby steps! Some day I will be all caught up. . . I swear!
9. This is all the laundry I washed today, but neglected to fold/iron/put away. . . maybe tomorrow. . . maybe not. . . I think I need a bigger laundry room.
10. I also changed the standard 4 dirty diapers today. . . but I'll spare you the photos! I love summer. Wish life could be like this every day.

It must be nice to write a "ten for Tuesday" that is a bit less eventful. That must mean you didn't have any boys play in the mud, run naked through the sprinklers, or color on the walls. Uneventful weeks are the best weeks, right?!
btw, I can't believe what a big boy Blake is becoming!
Fun idea to blog the ins and outs of your day. Looks like you guys are enjoying your summer. We are going to have to get a slip n' slide. Just looks like too much fun (and entertainment) for the kids (and ME)!
I'm glad I'm not the only one with that much laundry! I can get it washed but I hate putting it all away.
What was the computer tip? My photos are so disorganized and I need to sort through them. How awesome to have made a dent in such a huge project!
Blake is getting so big! All your boys are so cute!
Ever since Ethan was born we pretty much just listen to classical music or preschool type music, so I am probably just as clueless or more than you. It's a rare moment that I get to listen to the radio or a cd of my own. That said, I LOVE Michael Buble and Norah Jones.
It's comforting to know I'm not the only one who doesn't fold, iron, and put away laundry the same day I wash it! Sometimes I don't actually put it away until the next week when I need the baskets again to do more laundry!
What a fun post. I need to get back to 10 for Tuesday. Now that my world has settled a little. I miss you a lot!
