Ten for Tuesday 3.25.08

  1. Welcome spring! I love this beautiful weather we're having. I know it won't last long, but I've been so happy to see the sun out.
  2. I took the kids to the park on Friday for the first time in a long time. What a great way to pass the afternoon.
  3. I sang with a friend in Relief Society on Sunday. I'm a bit rusty to say the least. It's amazing how nervous you can get singing in front of seven people. I swear my knees were knocking!
  4. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have at least 10 pounds of candy calling my name right now. I guess you could say that Weight Watchers is also calling my name right now, but I'm not quite ready to answer that call just yet.
  5. I really need to start exercising again, but it seems impossible to find a convenient time. I've been talking to a couple of friends about walking early in the morning. The question is, can I really scrape myself out of bed every day to go? I'm not so sure. I am really not a morning person.
  6. Part of the reason mornings are so tough is because my kids are still getting me up at night. Blake woke up FOUR times on Sunday night. AARGH! I'm not sure what the deal is, because last night he slept through the night (but Ty got out of bed three times). Do you ever just wish your kids had mute buttons?!
  7. This week we bought a glider for the baby's room. I have been wanting one ever since Michael was a baby. We found a really great deal on a chair that Costco was clearing out, and it is so comfortable! I finally have somewhere nice to sit while I feed the baby!
  8. On Saturday I scrubbed my kitchen floor on my hands and knees. It is so much cleaner than if I had used a mop. I love it! The last time I scrubbed it on my hands and knees was two years ago, and I swore I would never do it again. My knees are bruised and my arm is sore (seriously!), and it will probably be another 2 years before it happens again.
  9. I can't even say how disappointed I am that there will be no new episodes of LOST for the next several weeks. What am I going to do with my Thursday nights?! Actually, I'm sure I can find plenty to do, but I really would rather just relax with my favorite show. Maybe I'll have to go back and watch the first season again. . .
  10. This is a shout out to my reader in Denver, Colorado. I have someone from Denver who frequents my site, and I can't for the life of me figure out who it might be, so if it's you, leave me a comment and let me know who you are!

LOL- The reader in Denver cracks me up. :) I wonder who it is!
I am sorry I missed you singing in R.S.! I bet it was pretty. I totally hear you on the Easter Candy! It is out of control! I need an intervention!

Let me know who John Denver is because I think he might be coming to my sight through yours. I hope Blake is sleeping better because since we talked Jack has picked up some nasty nightly habits ..

I haven'y read blogs in a while because it hurts too much to sit in our hard computer chair for too long. But, I loved all the posts I caught up on. I too love easter candy. I tried sweet tart jelly beans this year and they are awesome.
