The Theif is written for a young audience. I generally don't love to read young adult fiction, but this was recommended to me, and I decided to give it a try. It took a little while for me to get into the book, but once I did I really enjoyed it. In fact, the book just got better and better and there was a great twist at the end. This book takes place in a fantasy setting, and the author has created her own ancient-Greece-type mythology. The main character, Gen, is a prisoner and a theif who is taken along on a quest to steal something of great importance for the king of Sounis. Gen brags to anyone who will listen that he can steal anything, but this job may be more than he can handle.
I quite enjoyed this book, and I plan to read the sequels, Queen of Attoloia and King of Attolia.

I've really enjoyed this series, and glad you liked it too!
I think I already told you that I liked this book, but I'll say it again just in case I didn't. I really keep meaning to read the other books in the series, but haven't yet gotten around to it.
